Since retiring to WI I have been looking for a knowledgeable massage therapist who is not afraid to dig into my knots and tightness. Yesterday I had a session with Jay and he gave me a good upper body stretch and release. Before the session began we spoke about my medical history and what I was looking for as well as what I could expect from his manipulations. I feel he listened well and during the session, he honored my pain level and allowed me to keep a level of comfort that also made a difference in my treatment. And what I really appreciated was the discussion afterward as he explained what he found and suggested stretches I could do at home. It will take a few days to truly find out what his work accomplished, but I can say I slept much better on my shoulder last night and that was a nice gift. I will return as this type of quality massage is not easy to find in our wide area. If you want a spa massage keep looking. However Jay is able to identify spots that need work and make a difference in my day-to-day motion and I appreciate his talent.
